Look I saw a lot of potential in the game and I really like the art style. This is definitely possible, but if I need to actively give myself less option to have fun then id rather play a better TD game. Why not try to replay it as a challenge mode without certain cards or something? Yes this is what a tower defense game is, but late game waves take multiple minutes to complete, I don't need that much time to think about placing 1 or 2 towers. Part of this game's strategy is to optimize priorities/levels/placements in between waves. So they do something different but they still add stuff for players to do so you dont have downtime.Īt the end of the day its not my game and if people are having fun that's great. like i said before, some TD's decided to not add a speedup button but they give you stuff to do during the wave. What? making something different just for the sake of being different isn't good design. If I did everything in this game the way "every other tower defense game does it" it would be unremarkable at best.
